Useful base for exploring Deal. Fairly clean place, terrific service, excellent staff. Big bed & quiet position next to the grounds to the rear of the pub, the pub in a quiet location, and local attractions. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Church of st Augustine. Delicious and great breakfast options.

Lovely stay for family time!
What a beautiful place! We had a lovely double room, and the staff were super nice, especially a lady who hooked me up with extra coffee and shampoo. The food at the bar was delish and great value too! Just wish the WiFi was a bit stronger as it kept dropping. Still, a great trip overall!

The place was quite nice for our family outing. We loved the big playground area outside, which kept the kids entertained while we enjoyed the beautiful views from our room. The spacious family room was clean and comfortable, making our stay really enjoyable. There were only a couple of minor issues, like the curtains not being blackout, which made for bright mornings.

I enjoyed the fine location near the pub with fantastic food. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, with a lovely shower. The lovely breakfast made our mornings great. The garden was perfect, especially with beautiful weather. I found the snack menu a bit limited, especially at 6 PM when we wanted a light meal. It would have been nice to have a second chair in the room, as there was only one. I also think the bathroom could use a small unit or desk for toiletries.

Oh mate, the fish and chips at the pub nearby were an absolute belter! A proper seaside treat! Plus, the kids loved the play area, giving us some much-needed chill time. Our room was spick and span, a nice cozy vibe for a family stay!
Had a bit of a hiccup with food orders on our first night and the lack of lighting outside made for a dodgy stroll back. Plus, no hairdryer and no extra toilet roll, felt a bit like camping indoors!

An Enjoyable Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our two-night getaway. The room design was charming, though I wished for a larger bed and better climate control. An excellent opportunity to explore local dining options nearby-don't miss the nearby café for breakfast! A little more comfort would elevate the experience.

We visited St Margaret's Beach and a local pub with live music. The room was cozy, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the overall ambiance. Great spot for a group getaway!
One downside was that the beds were a bit small for some of us, making it slightly uncomfortable during the nights.
